It has a medieval fortress and a scary dragon, but do not get afraid Slovenia's capital is a safe, lovely, amazing place in which to relax. Ljubljana is sophisticatedly pretty, with its candy-coloured baroque and dizzyingly ornate Secessionist architecture.
