Check my Ljubljana in Monochrome Exhibition here

One day for a Fine Art - Monochrome photography workshop. Learn to see in Black & White. You can be sure to have the best time ever.

Black and white photographs have a classic appeal which stands the test of time. Learning to see and compose in black and white is a valuable skill; not all images work in black and white, and there is much more to creating a great image than adjusting the desaturation slider. Once we know how to find black-and-white images and acquire the camera skills to shoot them, we must know how to properly develop the image on our computer. Monochrome is also the perfect medium for creating stunning minimalist images.

Throughout this workshop, we will cover the following topics:

  • Tones – A discussion about light, colour, black and white and grey tones to develop your understanding

  • Subjects and composition – what makes a good black and white photograph? How to decide whether to use colour or monochrome?

  • Post-production – learn about black-and-white conversion and the different options in monochrome photography (sepia, bromoil, etc)

  • Software – explore different software and plugins for professional black-and-white conversion.

Are you ready to start shooting in Black and White? This B&W Photography Workshop will help you learn how to create stunning Black and White images with the guidance of internationally-awarded photographer Marco Secchi.

Take up close and personal photos of the city, its architecture and history that will impress your friends back home.
